मुंबई। अभिनेत्री भाग्यश्री लंबे समय से बड़े पर्दे से दूर हैं। आज भी जब उनका ज़िक्र आता है तो उन्हें ‘मैंने प्यार किया’ की हीरोइन के रूप में ही याद किया जाता है। सूरज बडज़ात्या निर्देशित फिल्म 'मैंने प्यार किया' में सलमान खान (Salman Khan) और भाग्यश्री (Bhagyashree) की जोड़ी को दर्शकों ने बेहद पसंद किया था। भाग्यश्री अब सुर्ख़ियों से भी दूर रहती हैं लेकिन सोशल मीडिया पर वे बहुत एक्टिव हैं। उनके फिटनेस से जुड़े वीडियो और फोटो को उनके फैंस पसंद करते हैं और उनके जैसे ग्लैमरस लुक को पाने के लिए उन्हें फॉलो भी करते हैं।

आपको बता दें कि साल 1989 में आई ‘मैंने प्यार किया’ के लिए फिल्मफेयर से बेस्ट डेब्यू फीमेल का पुरस्कार जीतने वाली भाग्यश्री ने साल 1990 में हिमालय दासानी से शादी की थी। अब भाग्यश्री अपने परिवार को प्राथमिकता दे रही हैं। भाग्यश्री के दो बच्चे हैं। 23 साल का बेटा अभिमन्यु और 21 साल की बेटी अवन्तिका।

भाग्यश्री ने अपने अभिनय जीवन की शुरुआत वर्ष 1987 में टीवी पर प्रसारित अमोल पालेकर की ‘कच्ची धूप’ से की थी। लेकिन, उनकी पहचान ‘मैंने प्यार किया’ की एक्ट्रेस से ही है। मैंने प्यार किया की यह सुमन एक ही रात में घर-घर में पॉपुलर हो गयी थी। उस समय भाग्यश्री महज 20 साल की थीं।
