The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) had conducted the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examinations from 19 February to 12 March, 2015 across 940 examination centers. Girls again performed better than boys in 2015 result. Pass percentage of girls was quiet higher in comparison of boys.

Registration of students increasing every year in view of this overall performance can also be expected higher. Large no. of students expected to enroll with the Assam Board 10th Class this year whereas More than 3.8 lakh candidates registered for the exam last year, wherein 3.7 lakh candidates for HSLC exam and around 10 thousand candidates for AHM examination.
