नई दिल्ली, जेएनएनl रणवीर सिंह ने कहा है कि एमएस धोनी से उनकी पहली मुलाकात की तस्वीर उनकी सबसे बेशकीमती चीजों में से एक है। क्रिकेटर धोनी ने शनिवार को अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास की घोषणा की है। एमएस धोनी द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास की घोषणा करने के एक दिन बाद रणवीर सिंह ने उनके साथ एक फोटो शेयर की हैl यह उनकी पहली बार एक एड शूट के दौरान भारत के पूर्व कप्तान धोनी से मुलाकात की है। रणवीर ने क्रिकेटर के साथ एक दिलकश इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट में अन्य यादें भी शेयर कीं है।

पहली तस्वीर को साझा करते हुए रणवीर ने लिखा, 'यह तस्वीर मेरी बेशकीमती संपत्ति में से एक है। यह वर्ष 2007/08 के आसपास कर्जत के एनडी स्टूडियो में लिया गया था। मैं लगभग 22 साल का था, एक सहायक निर्देशक के रूप में काम कर रहा था। मैंने यह काम केवल इसलिए किया था क्योंकि विज्ञापन में केवल और केवल एमएस धोनी थे।'

This little gem of a photo is one of my prized possessions. It was taken around the year 2007/08 at ND Studio in Karjat. I was about 22 years old, working as an assistant director. I took up this particular job only because the ad film featured the one & only MS Dhoni. I was overworked and underpaid, but I didn’t care- I just wanted to be in His presence. I was even injured at the time, but I worked through the pain in the hope that as a reward for my sincere efforts, I would be granted a chance to briefly meet MSD and maybe get a photo with him. When I finally met him, I was completely awestruck. He was so humble, so down-to-earth, full of grace and exuded an unmistakable aura of kindness. My love, respect and reverence for him grew even stronger. After I did my first movie, Sapna (who was our common hairstylist at the time) called me one day and said ‘hey I know you’re a massive MSD fan, he’s shooting at Mehboob studio, come & meet him if you’d like’. Man-oh-man! I just dropped everything and rushed to the studio to meet him! He was jovial and warm and praised my performance in BBB. We hung out, I had my cap and jersey signed by him, like a true fanboy. That day, I felt like I was walking on the clouds! Since then, every time that I have the good fortune of meeting him, I am left energised and enthused, as if a big brother has blessed me with energy and motivation to go out and be the best that I can be. 🙏🏽 MSD is one of the greatest sportsmen to have ever lived. I’m lucky to have witnessed his playing career in my lifetime. A paragon of excellence. An icon of the sport. My hero forever. 🌟 Thank you Mahi Bhai for bringing glory to our great nation and filling a billion hearts with pride. 🇮🇳 #MSD the #GOAT 🐐

रणवीर सिंह ने लिखा, 'मैं ओवरवर्क और अंडरपेड था, लेकिन मुझे परवाह नहीं थीl मैं सिर्फ उनकी उपस्थिति में रहना चाहता था। मैं उस समय भी घायल था, लेकिन मैंने इस उम्मीद में दर्द में काम किया कि मेरे ईमानदार प्रयासों के लिए एक इनाम के रूप में, मुझे एमएसडी से संक्षिप्त रूप से मिलने और शायद उसके साथ एक फोटो प्राप्त करने का मौका दिया जाएगा। जब मैं आखिरकार उनसे मिला, तो मैं पूरी तरह से हैरान था। वह बहुत विनम्र थे, अनुग्रह से भरा और दयालुता की आभा बाहर निकल रही थी। उनके प्रतिमेरा प्यार, सम्मान और श्रद्धा और भी मजबूत हुई।'

रणवीर ने कहा कि धोनी के साथ उनकी दूसरी मुलाकात 'बैंड बाजा बारात' के कुछ समय बाद हुई थी, और हेयर स्टाइलिस्ट सपना भवनानी ने उन्हें मिलवाया था। वह बताते है, 'जब मैंने अपनी पहली फिल्म की, उसके बाद सपना ने मुझे एक दिन फोन किया और कहा मुझे पता है कि तुम एमएसडी के बड़े फैन हो, वह महबूब स्टूडियो में शूटिंग कर रहा है, आओ और उससे मिलो। मैंने बस सब कुछ छोड़ दिया और उनसे मिलने के लिए स्टूडियो की ओर दौड़ पड़ा! वह मजाकिया और अच्छे मूड में थे और बीबीबी में मेरे प्रदर्शन की प्रशंसा की। मेरे पास उनकी टोपी और जर्सी थी, एक सच्चे प्रशंसक की तरह उनकी ऑटोग्राफ वाली। उस दिन मुझे लगा जैसे मैं बादलों पर चल रहा हूं।'
