In 2015, boys hold the top positions in WB Higher Secondary Exams same as in the Madhyamik Exams. Total 34 students were in the top 10 positions and out of which 19 students from the same school ‘Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission School’. Male candidates had begged the first, second and third rank in the WB Board Class 12th result. First position by scoring 496 marks (99.2%) followed by the second position with 491 marks (98.2%) and third place with 489 marks (97.8%).
The overall pass percentage of students was 82.38% in WB Higher Secondary Exam 2015. Pass percentage of girls student was 81.80% and boys student was 82.96%. In District wise pass percentage East Medinipur again tops the list with 91.65% followed by West Medinipur on second place with 88.89%.
Though this year more students can be expected to enrolled in WB Board Class 12th Examination 2016. Whereas in 2015, total 6,69,905 candidates appeared for the WB Higher Secondary Examination and 6,62,565 candidates passed.
