n avid traveller and an ardent music lover, Rohit continues to charm audience through his excellent acting skills. He has portrayed variant roles in several serials. Recently, he was seen in ‘Aadhe-Adhoore’, as Viren. A candid chat with him - Tell us something about your student life.

I was an average student. I loved watching movies. My female friends used to help me with the notes and assignments.

What fascinated you to enter the glamour world?

I was told about the auditions for a commercial film. I auditioned for it and got selected. I was always fascinated with acting. I often practiced my favorite stars’ lines in front of the mirror.

What would you have been if weren’t an actor?

May be a singer. Although I am not a good singer but I am fond of singing. In college, I often used to play a guitar and sing to impress friends.

What about Bollywood? When would we see you on the big screen?

I would like to work in a Bollywood film and I am currently exploring opportunities and meeting people but nothing is definite as of now.

Share your fitness routine.

I am not very particular about exercising and going to the gym. My day usually starts with

drinking lots of water followed by meditation. Also, I don’t believe in having too much food at one time, so I prefer having meals at short intervals.

How would you define life and success?

To me, success is about

achieving your aim. It’s not about just being a popular actor but rather to set goals and to achieve them.

What do you love the best about Delhi?

I have a lot of fond memories with Delhi. I used to visit Iltutmish Tomb in the late evenings.. With my friends, I was always on a lookout for haunted places We used to hangout there!

What are your future plans?

I would love to get into direction and I am currently exploring opportunities to assist a good director. I would of course

continue to act but I don’t want to limit myself to it.

What’s your message for today’s youth?

Set goals in life and work hard to achieve them. Don’t get diverted in between. Being social is important, respect girls if you want to earn respect.l
